Temas Sea Transportation Issuer (TMAS) Shares Dividends of IDR 456.4 Billion

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Issuer in the field of providing maritime transportation services and supporting services, PT Temas Tbk. (TMAS) announced a dividend distribution of IDR 8 per share, totaling IDR 456.4 billion. This figure is around 56% of net profit for Fiscal Year 2023.

Quoting the official statement, this matter was decided at the Annual and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS-LB)

"This dividend distribution continues the commitment to distribute dividends that have been made in 2023 worth IDR 754.68 billion or IDR 132.8 per share, around 53.37% of 2022 net profit," wrote management, Monday (1/4).

Quoting the company's financial report as of December 31, 2023, TMAS recorded a net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 782.61 billion. This figure is down 42.65% from a profit of IDR 1.36 trillion in the same period in 2022.

The decrease in profit was because net service income also fell by 11.73% to IDR 4.30 trillion from the previous year's value of IDR 4.87 trillion.

Even though the company's revenue fell, TMAS service expenses were recorded to have increased by 2.53% to IDR 3.19 trillion from the previous IDR 3.11 trillion. Thus, TMAS's gross profit also decreased by 36.89% to IDR 1.11 trillion from the previous IDR 1.76 trillion.

The total assets are worth IDR 4.06 trillion. This amount decreased 7.61% from IDR 4.40 trillion at the end of December 2022. Meanwhile, cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period decreased 31.55% from IDR 1.29 trillion to IDR 883.15 billion.
